Vanderbilt University is a non-profit, private university located in Nashville, Tennessee. Vanderbilt is a reputable university that has received national recognition and academic awards in excellence.

Students who are admitted to Vanderbilt University will have the opportunity to pursue a bachelor's, master's or doctoral degrees in one of 53 areas of study with over 200 discipline specific concentrations. Vanderbilt is regionally accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. This means the credits you earn at Vanderbilt are transferrable to just about any other college or university in the nation. Earning an undergraduate degree at Vanderbilt is excellent preparation for a career or graduate school.

In additional to tradition degree paths, students also have the opportunity participate in joint degree, dual credit, online distance learning and study abroad programs at various international locations. Vanderbilt allows high school AP credits to be applied as credits toward the completion of an undergraduate bachelor's degree.

Vanderbilt has approximately 12,850 full-time students making it the 6th largest university and higher education institution in the state of Tennessee.

Owen Graduate School of Management

With just over 550 students, the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt is one of the smallest of the top business schools in the United States. It offers a personalized experience where students and teachers interact one on one on a daily basis and really get to know one another. The school has 50 full-time faculty and has a very attractive student-to-faculty ratio of 9:1. Major publications, including Bloomberg, Businessweek and U.S. News & World Report, consistently rank Owen's two-year MBA program among the top MBA programs in the nation.

In addition to its traditional 2-year full-time MBA program, Owen offers an MS in Finance, MAcc, Master of Marketing, Health Care MBA, Executive MBA (EMBA), Americas MBA for Executives (AMBA), Master of Management in Health Care and various Executive Education programs. Concentrations within the school's full-time MBA programs include finance, marketing, entrepreneurship, real estate, consulting, health care, operations and human and organizational performance.

Online Degree Programs

Through the Vanderbilt Institute for Digital Learning (VIDL) on-campus students have the opportunity to take advantage of education and degree programs that are enhanceed through online learning and digital technology. However, Vanderbilt does not currently offer online degree programs that offered entirely online.
