University of Virginia

The University of Virginia (UVA) is one of the few universities to be founded by a U.S. President. It is located in Charlottesville, Virginia and is known as one of the original "Public Ivies". It claims to provide an educational experience on par with that offered at Harvard, Yale or any of the eight private Ivy League universities.

Even though the University of Virginia is technically a public school, mosts of its funding comes from private donations and non-public sources. The student body at University of Darden comes from all 50 states and 147 countries. In addition to its main campus in Charlottesville, the university also operates the College of Wise located in southern Virginia.

UVA offers a large selection of undergraduate and graduate degree programs for students to choose from. Currently, the university offers over 200 degree programs–48 bachelor's degrees, 96 master's degree and 55 doctoral degrees. The university also offer several specialist and first-professional degree programs.

Darden School of Business

The Darden School of Business is ranked among the top business schools in the United States. It offers various graduate level business education programs including a traditional MBA, Global MBA, Ph.D. degree and Executive Education certificate. The Darden School of Business uses the case method of teaching in its MBA programs and is known for offering a rigorous and thorough business education. The main objective of the programs offered through the Darden School of Business is to help students strengthen their leadership, business and communication skills.

Online Degrees and Learning

The University of Virginia offers various online learning opportunities through its School of Continuing and Professional Studies. It also offers flexible online degree and degree-completion programs for students. Currently, it offers the Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies and Bachelor of Professional Studies in Health Science Management. Both of the degrees can be completed entirely online.
