University of Notre Dame

University of Notre Dame (locally referred to as Notre Dame or ND) is a non-profit, privately owned and operated university located in Notre Dame, Indiana. The University of Notre Dame is an affiliate of the Roman Catholic Churh although students of all faiths and backgrounds are welcome to attend.

The University of Notre Dame offers bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees in over 200 fields of study. Notre Dame is regionally accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, The Higher Learning Commission and has specialized accreditation from the American Bar Association - Council of the Section of Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar. Several of the schools individual departments and academic colleges also hold professional accreditations.

The University of Notre Dame has a large study abroad program that offers students the opportunity to study at various international locations as they work toward earning their degree. Like many other universities, the University of Notre Dame accepts high school Advanced Placement courses as collee credit and will apply them toward the completion of a bachelor's degree.

With over an annual enrollement of over 12,000 at its central campus, the University of Notre Dame is currently the 9th largest higher education institution in the state of Indiana.

Mendoza College of Business

The Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame offers six undergraduate and four graduate degree programs in business. Graduate business programs at Mendoza include a full-time Masters of Business Administration (MBA), Executive MBA (EMBA), Master of Science in Accounting (MSA), Master of Science in Non-profit Administration and various executive business education programs. At the undergraduate level, Mendoza offers a BBA in Accountancy, Finance and Business Economics, Management and Marketing.

Online Degrees at Notre Dame

The University of Notre Dame offers several certificate and executive education programs that are offered entirely online. Full-time students attending the University of Notre Dame can complete online courses as they work toward completely their degree. However, the university does not offer degrees that are provided entirely over the Internet via distance learning.
