University of Missouri-Columbia

The University of Missouri-Columbia (aka Mizzou or MU) is a public four-year university located in Columbia, Missouri. MU has nearly 36,000 students (27,000 undergraduate and 7,000 graduate) making it the largest university in the state of Missouri. It offers more than 300 undergraduate and graduate degree programs through its 19 academic schools and colleges and is only one of six universities in the nation to have a veterinary school, school of medicine, engineering, law and agriculture all located on one campus.

In addition to an exceptional academic offering, the university also has a large athletic program. MU athletic teams and student athletes compete in NCAA Division I and belong to the Southeastern Conference.

The University of Missouri-Columbia was ranked 97 in the nation by U.S. News & World Report and among the top 300 in the world by Academic Ranking of World Universities. The school has one of the oldest schools of journalism of any university in the world.

Truslaske College of Business

The Truslaske College of Business at the University of Missouri is the university's second largest academic college. The college offers both undergraduate and graduate degree programs in business and accounting. At the graduate level the college offers two MBA programs: Crosby MBA and execMBA program. The Crosby MBA, named after Gordon E. Crosby, Jr., is a top ranked MBA program that recently made it onto Business Week's list of top 25 public MBA programs and Forbe's list of top 50 MBA programs in the nation.

The execMBA is a 21-month program designed for working adults and aspiring business professionals. The execMBA is a hybrid program (part on campus/part online) where students complete about 25% of there coursework on campus and the remaining 75% online. Curriculum covers various topics including business analytics, economics, accounting, marketing, managerial finance, international finance, strategy and corporate governance, among others.

Through its School of Accountancy the Trulaske College offers a unique undergraduate accounting program where students earn both their bachelor's degree and master's degree in accountancy simultaneously. The school also offers a PhD in accountancy.

Online Degrees and Programs

Through Mizzou Online, the University of Missouri offers students the ability to earn a ed specialist, bachelor's, master's or doctorate degree entirely online. Online degrees at Mizzou are flexible, convenient and can be completed remotely via the internet. In addition to online degrees, students can also take advantage of online certificates. A few of the university's online degrees require some campus attendance.
