Texas A&M University

Texas A&M University is the flagship university of the Texas A&M University system. It is a public university with over 64,000 students–49,000 undergraduate, 19,000 graduate and 5,000 doctoral. It is the fourth-largest university in the nation and largest university in the state of Texas. It is among the top 20 research universities in the U.S. in terms of funding. Research at Texas A&M University is funded by several prominent agencies including the National Science Foundation, the Office of Naval Research, the National Institutes of Health and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (more commonly known as "NASA").

While 85% of Texas A&M students are residents of Texas, the university is still quite diverse. Over 33% of students are minorities or are of international origin. In fact, students at Texas A&M come from across the United States and from over 124 countries. The student body at Texas A&M University is known for being very conservative and religious.

Mays Business School

Mays Business School at Texas A&M University–College Station has a total annual enrollment of roughly 6,000 students–4,800 undergraduate and 1,200 graduate. Mays offers bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees in business management, information systems management, accounting, finance and supply chain management. The school is well known for having one of the top ranked and most affordable MBA programs in the nation. It was recently ranked No.1 in the nation by Financial Times for "Best Value for Money". Mays also offers and exceptional Executive MBA (EMBA) for working managers and aspiring executives.

Each year the Mays Business School is consistently ranked among the nation's top business schools by U.S. News & World Report, Financial Times, Businessweek and other college ranking publications.

Online Courses and Degrees

Through Texas A&M Univerity Commerce students, working professionals and non-traditional students are able to complete courses and pursue their degree via online distance education. Texas A&M University–College Station offers a limited selection of online degrees and certificates at the graduate-level. Online degrees and distance education courses at Texas A&M are offered in various disciplines including agriculture, engineering, medicine, nursing, public health, human development and public service.
