Stone Child College

Stone Child College (SCC) is one of just a handful of tribal colleges located in the United States. It is a regionally accredited higher education institution sponsored by the Chippewa Cree tribe located on the Rocky Boy Reservation situated just north of central Montana. SCC is one of 7 Tribal Colleges located in the state of Montana. Nearly all of the students (98%) that attend Stone Child College are Native American Indians. The school has an annual enrollment of roughly 500 students and the average age of students attending SCC is 40. The college's retention rate is 47% and only about 20% of students who enroll at SCC eventually graduate.

SCC is a two-year college that awards Associate of Arts (AA) and Associate of Science (AS) degrees in various fields of study including business, computer science, human services and the applied sciences.
