Saint Johns University

Saint John's University (SJU) is a private liberal arts school for men located in Collegeville, Minnesota. It is affiliated with the Roman Catholic Church and is a partner school to the College of Saint Benedict (CSB), a private liberal arts school for women located in St. Joseph Minnesota. While these two schools are separate, they share the same school year and curriculum. Nearly 95% of SJU students are recipients of some form of financial aid. Nearly all (95%) of alumni from both Saint John's University and College of Saint Benedicts, when asked, said their college experience was either good or excellent.

Saint John's University has a very strong study abroad program and is ranked among the top undergraduate institutions in the nation with respect to the number of students who complete a study abroad program at least once before they graduate. Saint John's University offers semester-long study abroad programs in 19 foreign countries and six continents. SJU is also recognized for the diversity of its student body. Students at SJU come from over 50 countries, and nearly all majors at SJU have an international focus.

Saint John's has be recognized for producing several Truman Scholars, Rhodes Scholars and Goldwater Scholars. The university is also well known as a top feeder school for volunteers in the Peace Corps. SJU is consistently ranked among the top 100 liberal arts colleges in the nation by U.S. News & World report and other college ranking publications.
