Regent University

Regent University is a private Christian university affiliated with the Evangelical Church. It was founded in 1977 as the Christian Broadcasting Network University. In 1990, it changed it's name to Regent University. Regent University's main campus is located in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Regent offers associate, bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees in over 70 fields of study and career-oriented disciplines. The university is regionally accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).

At the undergraduate level, Regent offers 2-year associate degrees and 4-year bachelor's degrees in various fields of study, including Business, History, Criminal Justice, Government, Biblical and Theological Studies, Marketing, Math and Christian Ministry, to name just a few. At the graduate level, the university offers degrees in Communications, Organizational Leadership, Government, Law, Business (MBA) and Psychology.

In addition to an extensive selection of campus-based degree programs, Regent also offers a large selection of online degrees and distance learning programs for working adults and non-traditional students. The online degree and distance learning program at Regent is ranked among the top in the nation. It was ranked the 11th best online undergraduate program by U.S. News & World Report. Many of its individual online graduate degree programs, including its online MBA program, are also ranked among the top in the nation within their respective fields.
