Pratt Institute is a private, non-profit higher education institution located in Brooklyn, New York. In addition to its main campus in Brooklyn, the institute has a satellite campus in Utica. The institute is well known for its exceptional undergraduate and graduate degree programs in architecture, industrial design, and interior design. The Pratt Institute is regularly ranked among the top regional universities and design schools in the United States.

The Pratt Institute is composed of five academic schools: School of Architecture, School of Art and Design, School of Liberal Arts and Sciences, School of Information and Center for Continuing Education and Professional Studies. The institute offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees in a variety of fields with an emphasis in art and design. The school also offers several joint degree programs including the J.D./Master in City and Regional Planning and LL.M./Master in Library and Information Science.

In 2013, Pratt Institute was ranked No.1 in the nation in Interior Design by U.S. News & World Report, No.5 in the nation in Industrial Design and No.3 in Fashion Design. It has been ranked among the top 20 best colleges in north several times.
