Lehigh University

Lehigh University is a private university and research institution that was founded in 1865 by Asa Packer – a successful businessman. Lehigh is located in Bethlem, Pennsylvania and has an endowment of $1.2 billion. It has approximately 5,000 undergraduate students, 2,000 postgraduate students and an academic faculty of just over 680. Lehigh University faculty and alumni include Pulitzer Prize winners, Nobel Prize winners, and Fulbright Fellowship recipients.

Lehigh comprises four academic colleges: the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Education, the P.C. Rossin College of Engineering and Applied Science and the College of Business and Economics. Approximately 40% of Lehigh students enroll in the College of Arts and Sciences. Lehigh is regionally accredited to award Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (BS), Master of Arts (MA), MBA, Master of Engineering (MEng.), Master of Education (M.Ed.) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees.
