Kenyon College

Kenyon College is a private higher education institution affiliated with the Episcopal Church. It is the oldest privately owned and operated college in the state of Ohio and is regionally accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. It is an undergraduate college with roughly 1,600 students and offers an education in the liberal arts. With an acceptance rate of just over 23%, Kenyon is considered to be a selective school.

Kenyon College offers both undergraduate majors and minors. While students are provided quite a bit of latitude on the classes they take, they are required to fulfill specific courses requirements in the Fine Arts, Humanities, Natural Sciences and Social Sciences in order to graduate. Some of the more popular areas of study at Kenyon College include Biology, Languages, Philosophy, American Studies, Sociology, Economics and Psychology.

Kenyon continues to rank among the top undergraduate liberal arts colleges in the nation. In 2016, it was ranked 25th in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. Forbes ranked Kenyon 5th in the Midwest on its "America's Best Colleges" list in 2014. The college has been referred to by Newsweek as one of the "25 New Ivies" since the college offers an educational experience on par with that offered at private Ivy League institutions such as Harvard University.

All degrees, majors and minors require campus attendance. Kenyon currently does not offers online degrees or distance learning programs that allow students to study remotely.
