Gettysburg College is a private liberal arts college located on a 225-acre campus in rural Gettysburg, Pennsylvania near the site of the famous battle of Gettysburg. The college has a total annual enrollment of roughly 2,700 students (50% male, 50% female) and employs a full-time academic staff of 225. Students at Gettysburg College come from across the United States and over 35 countries.

Gettysburg College offers undergraduate majors leading to a bachelor's degree in various fields of study including anthropology, biology, chemistry, computer science, art history, international relations, foreign language, cultural studies and psychology, to name just a few. The college also offers minors in various liberal arts fields and students have the option of earning a dual-degree or creating their own self-design program with the assistance of a faculty advisor. Before graduation, seniors at Gettysburg College are required to complete a individualized study capstone.

Through academic partnerships with the engineering departments at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Columbia University, Washington University in St. Louis, and the University of Pittsburgh, students can participate in a 3+2 program where they'll earn both a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Gettysburge College and Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in engineering from one of the aforementioned schools in just five years.
