Cornell University

Cornell University is one of eight prestigious Ive League universities located in the United States. It is located in the city of Ithaca, in the state of New York. Cornell offers higher education at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The university is composed for 14 academics colleges–7 graduate and 7 undergraduate. In addition to its main campus in Ithaca, Cornell has satellite campuses in, the first (Weill Cornell) in New York City and the other in Education City, Qatar. Both satellite campuses offers medical programs. Cornell also has facilities in Puerto Rico and the Main-New Hampshire Coast.

With an admission rate of 14%, Cornell is one of the more selective universities in the United States. Over 90% of first year students graduated in the top 10% of their high school class. The average SAT for entering freshman is between 720 and 750. Students attending Cornell come from all 50 states and over 120 foreign countries. About 26% of students are ethnic minorities. Cornell has consistently ranked among the top 10 colleges in the United States.

Johnson Graduate School of Management

The Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University is a graduate business offering an MBA program ranked among the top in the nation. The school has about 60 full-time staff, faculty and professors and total annual enrollment of about 600 MBA students. The school offers a full-time two-year MBA program, an Accelerated MBA and an Executive MBA. The full-time MBA program is comprised of one semester of core business classes followed by a semester of "immersion" and a second-year concentration (which is optional).

Online Degree Programs

Through its School of Continuing Education and Summer Sessions, Cornell University offers various online learning opportunities for students. While most of Cornell's online learning course, classes and programs are oriented toward personal development and fulfillment, students can take for-credit courses they can apply towards their degree. For-credit courses are typically offered during winter and summer semesters and vary by department.
