University of Alabama-HuntsvilleThere are three schools in University of Alabama System, and the University of Alabama-Huntsville is the top option for most students within the system. Alabama-Huntsville is known for its top caliber nursing program which is one of the largest programs the school offers. However, the Engineering college is still the largest, and most popular, program the university offers. The UAH Student Government Associations is one of the most popular student organizations on campus and provides student the opportunity to get involved in every aspect of student affairs and campus activity. For non-traditional student seeking the opportunity to earn a degree, UAH offers several distance learning and online degree options. Currently, online learning options are available at the undergraduate and graduate levels in education, engineering, nursing and interdisciplinary studies. To participate in online degree and distance learning opportunities at The University of Alabama in Huntsville student must first be accepted to the general academic program.
As regionally accredited institution, credits earned at UAH are transferable to other regionally accredited higher education institutions – which includes most four year colleges and universities in the United States.
