Bucknell University

Bucknell University is a private four-year undergraduate university that offers a higher education curriculum that emphasizes liberal arts. Bucknell is located in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania and is situated alongside the Susquehanna River. It has approximately 3,600 students. The university is composed of 31 departments and three academic colleges which include the School of Management, College of Arts and Sciences, and College of Engineering. Even though Bucknell is primarily an undergraduate university, it does have about 50 graduate students at any given time. In addition to an exceptional academic offering, Bucknell offers students the opportunity to join or participate in over 200 student groups and organizations.

Bucknell is also a research university. It offers undergraduate research opportunities to students in all departments and majors. Nearly half (45%) of students at Bucknell complete a study abroad program while working toward their major. Among "National Liberal Arts Colleges", Bucknell University was ranked 32nd in the nation by U.S. News & World Report in 2016. It was ranked 43rd in the nation on the Forbes America's Best Colleges list in 2015.
