American River College

American River College is a 2-year community college. It's 155-acre campus is located in the suburbs of Sacramento, California on the old Cameron Ranch. The college has a total annual enrollment of approximately 35,000 students, making it one of the largest higher education institutions in the state of California.

American River College offers a large selection of academic and career-oriented associate degrees designed to prepare students to enter the work force or transfer to a higher education institution to complete their bachelor's degree. American River College is a feeder school for many of the four-year universities in area, including California State University-Sacramento and University of California-Davis. In fact, American River College transfers more students to CSU Sacramento and UC Davis than any other community college in the state of California.
