Writers of the Future Contest

The Writers of the Future Contest is a Contest sponsored by L. Ron Hubbard Illustrators/ Writers of the Future Contest.

Scholarship information:

Contest Award: Minimum - $500, Average - $750, Maximum - $4000
Application Deadline: None
Scholarship Requirements: Candidate must be a writer who has not had a professionally published novel or short novel, more than three short stories, or a novelet. Candidate must submit an orginal work of science fiction or fantasy in English. The work should be prose, either a short story (under 10,000 words) or a novelet (under 17,000 words). Poetry or works intended for children are not eligible. For more information, send a self-addressed, stamped business-size, envelope.
