Scholarship Requirements: Candidate must be a former member of the Armed Forces who is enrolled in school for three-quarter time or more and in receipt of VA educational assistance under one of the following: Post-Vietnam Era Veterans' Educational Assistance (VEAP), the Montgomery G.I. Bill, or Survivors' and Dependents' Educational Assistance. Preference is given to service-connected disabled veterans. Recipient may work up to 25 times the number of weeks in the students' enrollment period. The work-study allowance payments must be the Federal or state minimum wage and the services performed must be VA related. Reservists must perform the services at a Department of Defense facility related to VA matters.
