William F. Miller, MD Postgraduate Education Recognition Award

The William F. Miller, MD Postgraduate Education Recognition Award is a scholarship sponsored by American Respiratory Care Foundation (ARCF).

Scholarship information:

Amount of Scholarship: Maximum - $1500
Application Deadline: 19-June-07
Scholarship Requirements: Candidate must submit an application, and must be a respiratory therapist who has at least a Baccalaureate degree with a 3.0 cumulative grade point average or better on a 4.0 scale, or the equivalent. Candidate must also submit proof of acceptance into an advanced degree program of a fully accredited school and proof of applicant's candidate for a degree, as well as three letters of reference attesting to the candidate's character, academic achievement, and professional commitment. Finally, the applicant must submit an essay consisting of at least 1,200 words describing how the award will assist the applicant in reaching the objective of an advanced degree and the candidate's ultimate goals of leadership in health care.
