Washington National Guard Scholarship

The Washington National Guard Scholarship is a Funded by military/requires military commitment sponsored by Washington National Guard.

Scholarship information:

Amount of Funded by military/requires military commitment: Maximum - $4003
Application Deadline: 1-May
Scholarship Requirements: Candidate must be a Washington resident and and enlisted active/participating member of the Washington National Guard who is in good standing, is an Enlisted, Warrant, or commissioned officer below Major, earns a minimum of 50 retirement points per year, has completed initial training requirements, and has completed at least one year in the National Guard and has a minimum of two years remaining on current contract. Candidate must be working towards a degree or certificate and have a minimum 2.5 grade point average (minimum 3.0 grade point average for graduate students). Award may be used at schools approved by the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges only. Recipient must agree to remain an active/participating member in the Washington National Guard for one additional year of service for each year of award. Applicants in Inactive National Guard service are not eligible for award.
