Virginia Teaching Scholarship Loan

The Virginia Teaching Scholarship Loan is a Loan sponsored by Virginia Department of Education.

Scholarship information:

Amount of Loan: Average - $3720
Scholarship Requirements: Candidate must be a male, preparing to teach in elementary and middle school, be a minority student, or be preparing to teach in chemistry, earth sciences, foreign language, mathematics, physics, special education, or technology education. All applicants should be a resident of Virginia, have a recommendation from the school, and have a minimum 2.7 grade point average. Award may be used at Virginia colleges or universities with state approved teacher preparation programs only.
Eligibility: College sophomore, College junior, College senior, Master's-level study, Other postgraduate-level education
