Vietnam Veterans Tuition Award
The Vietnam Veterans Tuition Award is a scholarship sponsored by New York State Higher Education Services Corporation (HESC).

Amount of Scholarship: Maximum award: $500 (part-time); $1,000 (full-time)
Application Deadline: 1-May
Scholarship Requirements: Candidate must be a New York resident and a Vietnam veteran who served in the U.S. Armed Forces in Indochina between December 22, 1961, and May 7,1975, and has been discharged under other than dishonorable conditions. Candidate must be enrolled at a degree-granting institution or in an approved vocational training program in New York State. Candidate must have applied for the Tuition Assistance Program and Federal Pell Grant Awards for full-time study or for a Federal Pell Grant Award for part-time study or enrollment in a vocational training program. Candidate must establish eligibility by submitting Vietnam Veterans Tution Award Supplement available from school or college financial aid office, veterans' office, or HESC.
