Vietnam Veterans Tuition Award Persian Gulf Veterans Tuition Award

The Vietnam Veterans Tuition Award Persian Gulf Veterans Tuition Award is a scholarship sponsored by Higher Education Services Corporation.

Scholarship information:

Amount of Scholarship: Minimum - $500, Maximum - $1000
Application Deadline: 1-May
Scholarship Requirements: Candidate must be enrolled in an undergraduate program in a New York degree-granting institution or vocational school and must have served in the U.S. Armed Forces in Indochina between January 1, 1963 and May 7, 1975 (dishonorable discharge not eligible). Candidate must have resided in New York on April 20, 1984 or at the time of entry into service and resume residency by September 1 of the year of application. Selection is based solely upon documenting and meeting eligibility requirements. Candidate must also have applied for Tuition Assistance Program and Pell Grant awards. Candidate must have served in hostilities begining August 2, 1990 (for Persian Gulf Veterans Tuition Award only).
Eligibility: College freshman, College sophomore, College junior, College senior, Master's-level study
