U.S. Department of Homeland Security Fellowship
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security Fellowship is a Fellowship sponsored by OakRidge Institute for Science and Education.
Scholarship information:
Amount of Fellowship: Average - $27600, Full Tuition, plus 27,600 stipend.
Scholarship Requirements: Candidate must be a U.S. citizen and have a minimum grade point average of 3.3. Participation in a paid 10 week summer internship after first year of graduate study year is mandatory. The application requires two essays and two letters of recommendation. The essays must demonstrate a connection between the student's academic interests and the mission of the Dept. of Homeland Security. Those interested in a Masters program must apply before they begin graduate study. Those enrolling in PhD programs can apply before their first year (e.g. as college seniors) or during their first year of graduate study.
