Tution Assistance Program (TAP)
The Tution Assistance Program (TAP) is a grant sponsored by New York State Higher Education Services Corporation (HESC).
Scholarship information:
Amount of Grant: Minimum - $100, Maximum - $4125
Application Deadline: 1-May
Scholarship Requirements: "Candidate must be a U.S. citizen or eligible noncitizen and a New York resident and study full time (at least 12 credits per semester) at an approved New York postsecondary institution. Candidate must be matriculated in an approved program of study, be in good academic standing, and meet income requirement: $10,000 for single, independent undergraduates with no dependents; $5,666 for single, independent graduate students with no dependents; $20,000 for dependent graduate students or independent graduate students who are married or have tax dependents. Candidate must submit FAFSA. Recipient must maintain a minimum grade average of "C" after receipt of two annual payments."
