The Toward Excellence, Access, & Success (TEXAS) Grant is sponsored by Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.
Scholarship information:
Amount of Grant: the lesser of the students need or tuition and required fees (based on state average)
Scholarship Requirements: Candidate must be a Texas resident with financial need who is a graduate of a public or accredited Texas high school and completed the Recommended High School Curriculum. Candidate must be enrolled at least three-quarters-time in an undergraduate degree or certificate program at a Texas college or university, and must never have been convicted of a felony or a crime involving a controlled substance. Candidate must have earned an associate's degree from a Texas college. Applicant's EFC cannot exceed $4,000 in order to qualify.
Eligibility: Applicant must be a college freshman, sophmore, junior or senior.
