Sweet 16 Magazine Scholarship Contest

The Sweet 16 Magazine Scholarship Contest is a Contest sponsored by Guideposts.

Scholarship information:

Contest Award: Minimum - $500, Maximum - $16000
Application Deadline: 1-November-06
Scholarship Requirements: "Applicants must be girls 13-18 years of age on or by November 1, 2006. Applicants must write a true, first-person story about a memorable or life changing experience they have had. Stories must be the true personal experience of the writer. Manuscripts must be the original, unpublished work of the submitter and must be written in English. Manuscripts must be typed, double-spaced, with a maximum of 1,600 words. Specify "Sweet 16 Scholarship Contest" clearly on the manuscript. Entries must include the writer's home address and phone number, as well as the name, address, and phone number of the writer's school and her grade level. Winners will be notified by mail prior to announcement in the June/July 2007 issue of Sweet 16."
