- Classroom Energy by The American Petroleum Institute - offers students and teachers with multimedia tools and games to understand energy and how it effects all of our lives.
- Energy Literacy Advocates - a non-partisan, non-profit, public education organization working to improve the energy literacy of all sectors of our democracy in order to empower a comprehensive national energy policy that is responsible and sustainable.
- Free Sun Power - how solar power systems work - all of the components that make up the system.
- LearnAboutEnergy.org - energy and energy education resources for both teachers and students including games, discussions, and monthly focuses.
- National Energy Foundation (NEF) - a unique 501 (c) 3 nonprofit educational organization dedicated to the development, dissemination, and implementation of supplementary educational materials and programs. These resources for education relate primarily to energy, water, natural resources, science and math, technology, conservation, and the environment. All enrich and enhance teaching and learning. They recognize the importance and contribution of natural resources to our economy, to our national security, the environment, and our quality of life.
- National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL): Education - resources and programs related to energy and science for K-12, undergraduate, graduate, postdoctoral, and teacher levels.
- NEED - National Education Energy Development - promote an energy conscious and educated society by creating effective networks of students, educators, business, government and community leaders to design and deliver objective, multi-sided energy education programs.
- Northeast Sustainable Energy Association - resources and programs for K-12 teachers and students on negative impacts of energy use.
- Sol Ideas Technology Development - the consulting firm of Greg P. Smestad, Ph.D. Focus is on optics and semiconductor materials used for optoelectronics, photovoltaics (PV), renewable energy and educational materials used in these fields.
