Student Research Program
The Student Research Program is a Stipend sponsored by American Heart Association Student Research Program.
Scholarship information:
Amount of Stipend: Average - $4000
Application Deadline: 14-January
Scholarship Requirements: Candidate must be enrolled full-time, must be a resident of California, Nevada, or Utah or be attending post-secondary school in one of those states, and must have completed at least four semesters (six quarters) of biological sciences, chemistry, or physics, and at least one quarter of college-level calculus, computational methods, computer science, or statistics. Essay, personal statement, and letters of recommendation are required. Award is for student to explore a career in heart or stroke research by working for a summer in a California, Nevada, or Utah research laboratory.
Eligibility: Must be a junior or senior in college.
