St. Andrew's Society Scholarship

The St. Andrew's Society Scholarship is an award sponsored by St. Andrew's Society of Washington, DC.

Scholarship information:

Amount of Scholarship: Minimum - $250, Maximum - $1000
Application Deadline: 15-March
Scholarship Requirements: Candidate must be of Scottish descent, have a meritorius academic record, and demonstrate financial need. Candidate must be enrolled in a U.S. or Scottish institution. U.S. students must reside or attend school within 200 miles of Washington, D.C. (defined as D.C. and Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, North Carollina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia). Candidate must cite Scottish descent and submit a statement of plans and goals. Special attention given to study that would demonstrably contiibute to enhanced knowledge of Scottish history or culture.
Eligibility: College junior, College senior, Master's-level study, Doctoral-level study
