South Carolina Legislative Incentives for Future Excellence (LIFE) Scholarship

The South Carolina Legislative Incentives for Future Excellence (LIFE) Scholarship is an award sponsored by South Carolina Commission on Higher Education.

Amount of Scholarship: Minimum - $2548, Maximum - $5000
Application Deadline: None
Scholarship Requirements: Candidate must be a SC resident at the time of high school graduation and college enrollment. Candidate must attend an eligible SC institution. Candidate must meet two of the following three criteria: Earn a cumulative 3.0 GPR based on the Uniform Grading Scale, rank in the top 30% of the graduating class, or score a minimum combined SAT I score of 1100 (composite ACT score of 24) to qualify at a four-year institution. To qualify at a two-year institution, the applicant must graduate from high school with a 3.0 GPR based on the Uniform Grading Scale.
Eligibility: Applicant must be a college freshman, sophmore, junior or senior.
