SEG Foundation Scholarship

The SEG Foundation Scholarship is an award sponsored by Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG) Foundation.

Scholarship information:

Amount of Scholarship: Minimum - $500, Average - $1500, Maximum - $12000
Application Deadline: 1-March
Scholarship Requirements: Candidate must intend to pursue a college course directed toward a career in exploration geophysics and have an interest in and aptitude for geology, mathematics, and physics. Candidate must either be a high school student with above-average grades planning to enter college the next fall, an undergraduate college student whose grades are above average or a graduate college student whose studies are directed toward a career in exploration geophysics in operations, teaching, or research. Financial need is considered, but the competence of the student as indicated by the application is most important.
Eligibility: College freshman, College sophomore, College junior, College senior, Master's-level study, Doctoral-level study
