Scholarship for Returning Women

The Scholarship for Returning Women is a scholarship sponsored by Center for the Education of Women.

Scholarship information:

Amount of Scholarship: Minimum - $1000, Maximum - $10000
Application Deadline: 12-January
Scholarship Requirements: Candidate must be a woman who has experienced an interruption in education during which time there has been no academic credit. The interruption must have been for either a minimum 48 consecutive months, or for a total of 60 months not counting interruptions of less than 12 months. Preference is given to women pursuing biology, biomedical sciences, business, engineering, mathematics, physical sciences, or other less traditional fields for women. Selection is based upon strength of motivation, promise of impact on chosen field, academic record, potential, creative and scholarly contributions, and financial need.
