Rural Emergency Medical Services Scholarship Incentive

The Rural Emergency Medical Services Scholarship Incentive is a grant sponsored by Office of Rural Community Affairs.

Scholarship information:

Amount of Grant: Minimum - $300, Average - $1157, Maximum - $2000, in state contribution, communities provide match
Application Deadline: None
Scholarship Requirements: Candidate must be at least 18 years of age, hold a high school diploma or GED certificate and a current license as an EMT or AMT-I from the state of Texas, have never defaulted on or currently owe any federal, state, or local student financial aid, and have never committed a felony. Candidate must contract with a rural community to provide emergency medical services in the community for at least one year and authorize credit and background checks.
