Rosewood Family Scholarship

The Rosewood Family Scholarship is an award sponsored by Florida Department of Education.

Scholarship information:

Amount of Scholarship: Maximum - $4000
Application Deadline: 1-April
Scholarship Requirements: Candidate must be an African-American who is a direct descendant of the Rosewood families affected by the incidents of January 1923, who is enrolled full time in an eligible program at a Florida state university, public community college, or public post-secondary vocational/technical school and demonstrates financial need. Other minority undergraduate students may be considered if funds remain available after awarding Rosewood descendants.
Eligibility: Applicant must be a college freshman, sophmore, junior or senior.
