Research Support Program
The Research Support Program is a Fellowship sponsored by German Marshall Fund of the United States.
Scholarship information:
Amount of Fellowship: Minimum - $3000, Maximum - $40000
Application Deadline: November 15 (advanced research and dissertation applicants); January 15 (predissertation research applicants)
Scholarship Requirements: Award is for research in significant contemporary economic, political, and social developments relating to Europe, European integration, and relations between Europe and the U.S. Candidate must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and attend a school in the U.S. Selection is based upon scholarly qualifications, promise, and for postdoctoral applicants or applicants that have completed an LL.M. degree, achievements, quality, importance, and originality of proposed research, relevance of the project and its expected results, financial need, and the likelihood of completing the research or fieldwork during the award period. Special consideration given to applicants pursuing dissertation fieldwork in one or more European countries, and to projects involving parallel or collaborative research by both established and younger scholars, including transatlantic projects.
