Regents Professional Opportunity Scholarship

The Regents Professional Opportunity Scholarship is an award sponsored by New York State Education Department.

Scholarship information:

Amount of Scholarship: Minimum - $1000, Maximum - $5000
Application Deadline: 1-March
Scholarship Requirements: Candidate must attend or plan to attend an approved licensure-qualifying program in New York state, be a legal resident of New York state for one year prior to September 1, be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, and be economically disadvantaged or a member of a minority group underrepresented in one of the designated licensed professions. Candidate must agree to practice in New York state in chosen profession for 12 months for each annual payment received.
Eligibility: College freshman, College sophomore, College junior, College senior, Master's-level study, Doctoral-level study
