Regents Health Care Scholarship for Medicine and Dentistry

The Regents Health Care Scholarship for Medicine and Dentistry is a scholarship sponsored by New York State Education Department.

Scholarship information:

Amount of Scholarship: Maximum - $10000
Application Deadline: 30-April
Scholarship Requirements: Candidate must attend or plan to attend an approved medical or dental program in New York state, have been a legal resident of New York state for at least one year prior to September 1, be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, and be economically disadvantaged and/or a member of a minority group underrepresented in the medical or dental profession. Candidate must agree to a service commitment of one year for each year of award (minimum two years of service) upon completion of all professional training. 80% of awards are for medicine and 20% for dentistry.
