Part-Time Study Grant

The Part-Time Study Grant is sponsored by Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs.

Scholarship information:

Grant Amount:Maximum award: 85% tuition plus fees
Application Deadline: within 60 days of completion of semester
Scholarship Requirements: Candidate must be a Wisconsin resident and a veteran with two years of active-duty service, 90 days of wartime service, or other active-duty service in conflicts or peacekeeping missions. Candidate must be attending a Wisconsin school part time (11 credits or fewer). Courses taken must be related to the applicant's occupational, professional, or employment objectives.Applicant with a bachelor's degree may be eligible if enrolled for eight credits or less and if he or she does not have remaining veteran's benefits. Spouses and dependents of deceased veterans may be eligible. Part-time applicant attending out-of-state schools within 50 miles of the Wisconsin border may be eligible if the course is not offered in Wisconsin within a 50-mile radius of applicant's residence. Out-of-state correspondence courses may qualify if the course is not offered at a Wisconsin school. Applicants with a master's degree are ineligible.
Eligibility: College freshman, College sophomore, College junior, College senior, Master's-level study
