Bilingual Education Organizations
Bilingual education involves teaching academic content in two languages, in a native and secondary language with varying amounts of each language used in accordance with the program model. The following are several different bilingual education organizations.

- National K-12 Foreign Language Resource Center - One of seven centers funded by the U.S. Department of Education, committed to improving foreign language education in America's primary and secondary schools, located at Iowa State University.
- The American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages - a national professional membership organization representing over 10,500 language educators from all levels of instruction and all languages. As part of its mission and vision, the organization provides guidance to the profession and to the general public regarding issues, policies, and best practices related to the teaching and learning of languages and cultures.
- California Association for Bilingual Education (CABE) - a non-profit organization incorporated in 1976 to promote bilingual education and quality educational experiences for all students in California. CABE has 5,000 members with over 60 chapters/affiliates, all working to promote equity and student achievement for students with diverse cultural, racial, and linguistic backgrounds.
- The Edmonton Chinese Bilingual Education Association - provides the opportunity for any students within the Edmonton Public School system to learn both the English and Chinese languages and to share knowledge of the Chinese culture within the context of the Alberta curriculum.
- Indiana Foreign Language Teachers Association (IFLTA) - an all-volunteer organization formed in 1969 to serve teachers of world languages in the state of Indiana.
- National Association for Bilingual Education (NABE) - national professional organization devoted to representing Bilingual Learners and Bilingual Education professionals.
