- Art Administrators of New Jersey - The mission of the Art Administrators of New Jersey is to advance visual arts education in the New Jersey Public schools through communications, professional development, political advocacy and leadership.
- Arts Education Partnership - provides information and communication about current and emerging arts education policies, issues, and activities at the national, state, and local levels. Our major projects and activities include: commissioning and disseminating research about critical arts and education issues; maintaining and linking databases on state-level policies for arts education; and convening national forums around significant themes and issues in the field.
- Harvard Project Zero - an educational research group at the Graduate School of Education at Harvard University. Project Zero's mission is to understand and enhance learning, thinking, and creativity in the arts, as well as humanistic and scientific disciplines, at the individual and institutional levels.
- Association of Independent Colleges of Art and Design - a consortium of 40 leading art schools in the U.S. and Canada. Informs the public about art and design colleges, and programs that improve the quality of the member colleges.
- National Office for Arts Accreditation - Provides information on four specialized accrediting agencies: National Association of Schools of Dance, National Association of Schools of Theatre, National Association of Schools of Art and Design, and National Association of Schools of Music.
- Arts Education Link - provide a comprehensive, on-line guide to developing projects in the learning environment, which focus on the arts and the creative process. Arts Education Link will be accessible, via the Internet to all citizens through access points located at schools, community centers, public libraries, as well as on the home computer.
- The Center For Arts Education - Not-for-profit organization committed to stimulating and sustaining quality arts education as an essential part of every child’s K-12 education in the New York City public schools.
- College Art Association - Promotes excellence in scholarship and teaching in the history and criticism of the visual arts and in creativity and technical skill in the teaching and practices of art. Facilitates exchange of ideas among those interested. Advocates education in the visual arts. Speaks for the membership on issues affecting the visual arts and humanities. Provides publication of scholarship, criticism, and artists’ writings. Fosters career development and professional advancement. Identifies and develops sources of funding and for scholarship. Honors accomplishments of artists, art historians, and critics. Articulates and affirms the highest ethical standards in the conduct of the profession.
- Florida Art Education Association - a membership association dedicated to providing visual art educators in Florida with the knowledge, skills and support that will ensure the highest quality instruction possible to all students in Florida.
- Leap - Leap's mission is to stimulate imagination and creativity in Bay Area children by bringing visual and performing artists and architects into the classroom for extended residencies. Leap artists and architects team with teachers to design participatory projects that augment and amplify the school's curriculum. Our purpose is to interweave all aspects of learning with the creative process.
