Northrop Grumman Scholarship

The Northrop Grumman Scholarship is an award sponsored by Society of Women Engineers (SWE).

Scholarship information:

Amount of Scholarship: Average - $3000
Application Deadline: 28-February
Scholarship Requirements: Candidate must be a female full-time student at the University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Engineering. Candidate must focus on one of the following disciplines: Civil and Materials, Electrical and Computer, Computer Science, or Mechanical Engineering. Candidate must show evidence of above average academic performance (minimum grade point average 3.0/4.0). Women of color (African American, Latina, Native American) are encouraged to apply. Candidate must submit an application coversheet, a biographical statement (tell us about yourself and your goals in no more than 2 pages), current resume or CV (list your education and employment history),UIC transcript, proof of financial aid eligibility (must have unmet for the 2006-2007 academic year), proof of US Citizenship (copy of birth certificate or passport), two letters of recommendation (include at least one from a UIC instructor).
