North Carolina Sheriffs' Association Undergraduate Criminal Justice Scholarship
The North Carolina Sheriffs' Association Undergraduate Criminal Justice Scholarship is a financial award sponsored by University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Scholarship information:
Scholarship Amount: Average - $2000
Application Deadline: 15-February
Scholarship Requirements: Candidate must be a North Carolina resident. Priority given first to children of a sheriff or deputy sheriff, then to children of any law enforcement officer killed in the line of duty, then to children of any sheriff or deputy sheriff who is deceased or retired, and then to criminal justice majors with high grade point averages and financial need. Candidate must submit letter of recommendation from sheriff in his or her county of residence, transcript, and documentation of criteria.
Eligibility: Applicant must be a college freshman, sophmore, junior or senior.
