Ned McWherter Scholars

The Ned McWherter Scholars is a scholarship sponsored by Tennessee Student Assistance Corporation.

Scholarship information:

Amount of Scholarship: Average - $6000
Application Deadline: 15-February
Scholarship Requirements: Candidate must be a U.S. citizen, attend a participating college or university in Tennessee, be a Tennessee resident, have graduated from a Tennessee high school with a minimum 3.5 grade point average, and rank in the top 5% nationally on the ACT or SAT I. High school grades, standardized test scores, leadership roles in high school, and difficulty of high school program are all considered; recipient is selected competitively.
