National Vocabulary Championship

The National Vocabulary Championship is a Contest sponsored by Civic Entertainment Group.

Scholarship information:

Contest Award: Maximum - $45000
Application Deadline: Varies
Scholarship Requirements: Eligible students can enter two ways: at participating schools in Boston, Detroit, New York City, Palm Beach County, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Sacramento, and St. Louis students can qualify to participate in citywide champioships to win more than $5,000; while students nationwide can participate via on-line and regional exams. Fifty finalists will win a trip to the Finals to compete for $40,000 towards college tuition and the title of National Vocabulary Champion.
Eligibility: High school freshman, High school sophomore, High school junior, High school senior
