National High School Journalist of the Year Sister Rita Jeanne Scholarship

The National High School Journalist of the Year Sister Rita Jeanne Scholarship is a financial award sponsored by Journalism Education Association.

Scholarship information:

Scholarship Amount: Minimum - $1000, Maximum - $2000
Application Deadline: February 15 (state competition); March 15 (national competition)
Scholarship Requirements: Candidate must be planning to study journalism in college, be planning a career in journalism, have a minimum 3.0 grade point average, and have participated in high school journalism for at least two years.
Eligibility: College freshman
