National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ) Newhouse Scholarship

The National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ) Newhouse Scholarship is a financial award sponsored by National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ).

Scholarship information:

Amount of Scholarship: Minimum - $5000, Maximum - $10000
Application Deadline: 31-January
Scholarship Requirements: Candidate must be enrolled full time and must submit transcript, resume, samples of best work, reference letters, essay, financial need statement, and parents' W-2 forms. Selection is based upon a high level of academic achievement, demonstrated interest in a journalism career, and financial need. Award is given for two years. Recipient receives funding to attend the NAHJ convention as well as an internship during the summer between junior and senior year.
