Scholarship information:
Award Amount: Average - $2000, Maximum - $5000
Application Deadline: 30-November
Scholarship Requirements: Award is to assist well-qualified individuals to train for careers in the rabbinate, Jewish education, and social work and as religious functionaries in Diaspora Jewish communities in need of such personnel. Recipient must undertake training in chosen field in a recognized yeshiva, teacher training seminary, school of social work, university, or other educational institution, and commit to serve in a community of need for two or three years. Students planning to serve in the U.S., Canada, or Israel are not eligible.
Eligibility: College senior, Master's-level study, Doctoral-level study
