Los Padres Internship Program for Hispanic Latino Students

Scholarship information:
Amount of Internship: Maximum award: $210 per week stipend in summer and $126 per week in fall and spring
Application Deadline: July 1 (fall); November 1 (spring); March 1 (summer)
Scholarship Requirements: Candidate must submit a cover letter with a brief personal statement and an outline of career goals. Candidate must also submit a resume listing relevant courses, previous experience, and special skills. No transcripts please. Two academic and/or professional recommendations. Two contrasting writing samples, no more than 3 pages each. No creative writing please. Candidate must have reliable mode of transportation. Undergraduate students who have completed a minimum of one year of study, graduate students, recent graduates, and career-changers currently enrolled in a degree program. Strong writing and organizational skills and proficient computer skills.
Eligibility: College sophomore, College junior, College senior, Doctoral-level study, Master's-level study, Other postgraduate-level education
