Amount of Fellowship: Average - $15000
Application Deadline: 15-January
Scholarship Requirements: Candidate must be knowledgeable in the history of twentieth-century to contemporary American art/craft and must submit research proposal. Selection is based upon applicant's academic standing, scholarly qualifications, experience, and the quality of the research project or study proposed and its suitability to Smithsonian collections, facilities, and programs. Preference is given to proposals concentrating on post-1930 craft developments or their historical antecedents.
